Press reports from South Africa this week are reporting the theft of feathers with the perpetrators caught on Monday (8^th April, 2013).   These thefts are not from the manufacturers, but directly from the live birds in their pens – birds from the Research Farm in Oudtshoorn are reported as a major target, with several birds killed.
